It was like you are hiring a subcontractor, and you just need to make sure that the work gets done! If you haven’t read this post, then check it out HERE. I thought it would be nice to go through a couple of other ideas that I have tried and have had success with.

Facebook Likes – Most business, small or large, have a Facebook page that their fans can log into and see promotions and updates that the company may have. Remember, you?re not there to sell ? you?re there to HELP THE PROSPECT Purchase. If you need to tattoo that on your forehead, be my guest.
Look at their portfolio, read feedback and check references. Yes, you actually have to work at it a little. It’s what people do when they can no longer act on blind faith. Do not be surprised, however, if they are just as hesitant about you; designers get burned just as often as clients do (and perhaps even more often). If you read or see something that you are uncomfortable with, ask questions. If you are still unsure after hearing the answers, walk away.
Acrylic backboards are the best, but are also the most expensive. A good acrylic board can cost hundreds of dollars. But they also look great, have the best playability, and can last a lifetime. If you are a serious player, or if the backboard will be used quite often at a park, church, or school, an acrylic backboard is required.
